RG Sharma : TWO consecutive hundred

With the 100 against Sri Lanka on 30.05.2010 in the ongoing tri series in Zimbabwe Rohit Sharma became only fifth Indian player to score two consecutive hundreds in One Day International. RG Sharma scored 114 against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo on 28.05.2010 and now scored 101 not out against Sri Lanka on Sunday.
The other Indians to score two consecutive centuries in ODI are … SR Tendulkar (22.04.1998 to 24.04.1998), RS Dravid (23.05.1999 to 26.05.1999), SC Ganguly (13.10.2000 to 15.10.2000), VVS Laxman (22.01.2004 to 24.01.2004) and Yuvraj Singh (14.11.2008 to 17.11.2008).
This was the 64th instance when a batsman scored two back to back hundreds in One Day International history. Pakistan’s Saeed Anwar has the distinction to score two hundred in two match for 4 times. While Sanath Jayasuriya, BC Lara and CH Gayle have done it in three separate occasions.
